Job Title: Machine Operator (Jorns CNC Bending Machine)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Machine Operator with experience operating a Jorns CNC bending machine. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment producing sheet metal parts.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and set up Jorns CNC bending machines to bend and form sheet metal components
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production specifications
• Measure materials accurately using a tape measure
• Convert fractions to decimals for precise measurements
• Perform quality checks to ensure finished parts meet specifications
• Assist with cutting and handling sheet metal materials
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow company safety procedures and production guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience operating CNC machinery (Jorns bending machine preferred)
• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately
• Strong math skills, including converting fractions to decimals
• Basic knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes
• Ability to read blueprints and production drawings
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a steel or metal manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with CNC programming or adjustments
• Prior experience with sheet metal cutting and forming
