We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our team in Plainview, TX. We welcome applicants holding either an Apprentice Electrician License or a Journeyman Electrician License who are looking for a stable, long-term opportunity in an industrial facility.
This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing electrical systems and equipment critical to plant operations. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and experienced in industrial electrical work and construction.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults on machinery, equipment, and production lines.
- Replace defective components including motors, relays, contactors, sensors, breakers, and wiring.
- Install new electrical equipment, motors, control panels, and associated wiring.
- Assist with facility expansion projects and equipment upgrades.
- Commission, test, and verify proper operation of newly installed electrical systems.
- Install complete electrical systems including:
- Conduit systems
- Branch and feeder wiring
- Transformers
- Panelboards
- Large and small electrical equipment
- Read, interpret, and work from electrical schematics, blueprints, and construction documents.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Apprentice Electrician License or Journeyman Electrician License.
- Experience with industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, or commercial electrical systems preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and schematics.
- Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, installation, and repair techniques.
- Experience with conduit installation and wiring methods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
