Job Full Description
Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to join our overhead door installation and service team in Plainview, Texas. This position will work alongside experienced technicians installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial and residential overhead doors throughout Plainview and the surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, is safety-conscious, and is willing to travel locally with the crew to various job sites.
OSHA 10 Certification is required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of overhead doors and operators
- Travel daily with the crew to job sites throughout Plainview and surrounding communities
- Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Assist with measuring, assembling, and securing door components
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Perform general labor duties as assigned
Qualifications
- OSHA 10 Certification required
- Construction, general labor, or installation experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the workday
- Comfortable working on ladders and at elevated heights
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

Schedule
