Job Full Description
The Instrument and Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, calibrating, and repairing electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of industrial and manufacturing
Install, configure, test, and commission electrical and instrumentation equipment, including sensors, transmitters, controllers, motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and control systems.
Assist in the installation of plant electrical systems, control panels, and associated wiring.
Ensure proper integration of instrumentation and electrical components into facility operations.
Diagnose and resolve faults in electrical systems, PLCs, motors, drives, control panels, and instrumentation devices.
Use testing and diagnostic tools to identify root causes of equipment failures.
Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams.
