Job Full Description
Position Summary Independently perform inspections and testing of components, subassemblies, and finished goods. Support nonconformance investigations and documentation in Epicor.
Key Responsibilities
- · Perform detailed inspections (dimensional, visual, functional) using standard and advanced measuring tools.
- · Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine accept/reject criteria.
- · Create, process, and maintain NCRs in Epicor.
- · Support root cause investigations with production and engineering.
- · Assist in maintaining calibration records and internal audits.
- · Provide training and guidance to Quality Technician I staff.
- · Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
- · Use Epicor MES.
- · Use Paycom.
- · Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
- 2+ years experience in inspection or quality assurance.
- Strong ability to read blueprints, GD&T, and specifications.
- Working knowledge of ERP quality modules, preferably Epicor.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or equivalent QMS.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift-up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Work in a shop environment subject to noise, moving parts, dust, fumes, and hot/cold temperatures.
