Express Employment Professionals of Midland has a Business Development position with a local company. The candidate must have previous experience and knowledge of operations as it relates to the Oil & Gas industry.
Our client is looking for a dedicated individual with a desire to develop new market segments and add customers. We are looking for someone who is driven with a competitive edge.
This Business Development Representative will provide customer service to existing clients and prospect new business. The representative will be responsible to develop new accounts, recover missing clients and manage established client accounts.
Requirements
- Must be capable of developing a client prospect list
- Promote and educate clients and prospects about the services the company offers
- Prospect for new accounts/referrals which include compiling and updating a list of prospective clients to provide leads for additional business
- Service existing accounts and communicate with clients on a regular basis
- Maintain a knowledgeable, dependable, professional image
- Follow up on accounts and build relationships to gain loyal clients
- Coordinate with other team members on trade shows, proposals and presentations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or (GED)
- 5 years sales experience with Face-to-face calls
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills, presentation skills, and problem-solving ability
- Ability to be a team player
- Must possess a current and valid driver license
- Strong problem-solving ability with customers
- Proven background in exceeding sales goals/quotas
- Must have related industry experience. (Chemical Sales)
- High Energy, Ambitious & Entrepreneurial Personality
- Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and various Sales databases
