Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring for an experienced Lab Technician for a local company in Midland, TX.

Pay: $20-$25/ Hour DOE
Primary duties:
- Must have a minimum of 2 Years Oilfield Laboratory Tech experience
- Must possess HS Diploma, Associates/Bachelor's degree preferred
- Performing laboratory tests on field samples by following SOPs
- Carrying out analyses accurately and in a timely manner by following strict methodologies
- Preparing field samples
- Operating, maintaining and constructing standard laboratory equipment such as spectrophotometers, fume hoods, hot plates, stir plates, analytical balances, Karl Fischer, densitometer, pH meter, conductivity meter, Ion Chromatograph, pipettes and titrators
- Keeping the lab consumables well stocked and resourced
- Recording and sometimes interpreting results to account managers and/or service technician, as well as the lab manager
- Using computers and Microsoft office to build data reports for analytical results
- Following and conducting strict safety procedures
- Keeping a well-maintained laboratory environment by keeping bench tops and walkways clear and free of debris and clutter.
