Specialized Recruiting Group in Midland, TX is searching for an experienced Compressor Technician for a Leading Oil/Gas Company in Barnhart, TX.
This is a direct hire opportunity and pay is $45-$55/hour depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure routine maintenance plans are followed to minimize downtime on all assigned equipment.
Maintain run time of compression units at or above 98%.
Accurately gather and document data for reports critical to unit operations.
Oversee and participate in the installation of new compression packages.
Ensure critical spares are maintained in inventory.
Maintain cleanliness of assigned units and ensure safe working conditions.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in gas compression is required
Caterpillar/Ariel certifications and experience strongly preferred.
High Pressure Gas Lift type compression experience is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
