Position Overview:
As our new Field Technical Rep (Valve Mechanic), you’ll be the go-to expert for oilfield customers when it comes to installing, maintaining, and servicing essential valve equipment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Travel to client sites to deliver, set up, and commission oilfield valve equipment
- Perform field diagnostics, repairs, and regular maintenance on valves and related components
- Lead hands-on training for oilfield crews to ensure safe and effective operation
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues on-site, ensuring minimal downtime
- Follow each job through to completion, making sure every customer’s system runs smoothly and safely
This role combines the challenges of fieldwork, direct customer interaction, and occasional sales support — perfect for reliable problem-solvers who love keeping the oilfield running.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- ✅ Strong mechanical aptitude, especially with valve mechanics
- ✅ Experience with oilfield operations and equipment preferred
- ✅ Proven diagnostic & repair skills (valves, pumps, instrumentation, etc.)
- ✅ Excellent communication and customer service
- ✅ Safety-minded and dependable
- ✅ Previous field tech or mechanic experience a plus
- ✅ Sales or client-facing experience is beneficial

- Location: Carlsbad, NM (Permian Basin)
- Schedule: Field-based, variable hours (some flexibility/OT may be required)
