What You’ll Do
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair service cranes, outriggers, winches, and lifting components
- Perform preventive maintenance on hydraulic & electrical systems
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic pumps, hoses, valves, and electronic controls
- Conduct safety & load tests following OSHA, ANSI, and manufacturer guidelines
- Operate field service trucks, compressors, welders, and hydraulic tools
- Maintain accurate records and a safe, organized work environment
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years’ experience as a mechanic (crane/heavy equipment/hydraulics a plus!)
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems
- Ability to read technical manuals & wiring diagrams
- Experience with diagnostic tools and hydraulic testing equipment
- Welding/fabrication skills a big plus!
- Valid driver’s license—CDL preferred
- Must bring your own basic tools and have reliable transportation
- Drug screening required
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in Midland’s varied conditions (heat, cold, outdoors)
- Comfortable climbing, bending, and maneuvering around big equipment
