IT / Network Administrator – Direct Hire
Express Employment Professionals – Midland, TX is seeking an experienced IT / Network Administrator to lead and support a multi-platform IT environment. This is an exciting opportunity to manage systems, networks, cybersecurity, and digital tools while directly contributing to business efficiency and growth.

Key Responsibilities
Systems & Software
-
Manage software licensing and renewals for Microsoft 365, Adobe, CAD, VPN, and other systems.
-
Coordinate updates, patches, and workflow improvements with vendors.
-
Develop automation tools to optimize system performance.
Network, Security & Infrastructure
-
Maintain network reliability across multiple sites.
-
Manage firewalls, VPNs, routers, and wireless networks.
-
Enforce cybersecurity standards (MFA, patching, endpoint protection).
-
Oversee data backup and disaster recovery processes.
User Support & IT Operations
-
Provide Tier 2/3 support for ERP systems, network issues, and devices.
-
Standardize Windows device deployment; assist Mac users as needed.
-
Conduct employee IT onboarding and training.
-
Partner with leadership to align technology with business goals.
Web & Digital Support (Preferred)
-
Maintain digital product catalog and website.
-
Manage hosting, domains, DNS, and implement security/SEO updates.
-
Collaborate with marketing and operations to maintain current and accurate product data.
Strategic IT Management
-
Maintain IT asset and software inventory.
-
Participate in IT budgeting and cost optimization.
-
Research and recommend emerging technologies.
-
Document procedures, configurations, and security policies.
Qualifications
Required:
-
5+ years IT systems or network administration experience
-
Strong Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 skills
-
Experience with network management, firewalls, VPNs, and cybersecurity
-
Background in data backup and disaster recovery
-
Strong communication and troubleshooting abilities
Preferred:
-
Microsoft certifications (MSCA, Azure Fundamentals)
-
Linux command-line experience (Ubuntu or CentOS)
-
macOS management experience (Jamf or equivalent)
-
Web development knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress)
-
Experience with automation tools, APIs, or Microsoft Power Platform
