Job Overview:
Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking an experienced CDL Rig Up Operator / Driver to join a hardworking oilfield team. This position offers competitive pay, guaranteed hours, and consistent work for qualified candidates. The ideal candidate will have experience with rig-up operations and operating multiple types of trucks used in oilfield equipment transport and setup.
This role requires safely transporting equipment to job sites and assisting with rig-up and rig-down operations while following all company safety procedures and DOT regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate pole trucks, tandem trucks, and winch trucks
- Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites
- Assist with rig-up and rig-down operations
- Secure loads properly using chains, binders, straps, and rigging equipment
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and equipment
- Maintain accurate driver logs and DOT documentation
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL license required
- Experience operating pole trucks, tandem trucks, and winch trucks
- Experience with rig-up operations preferred
- Knowledge of load securement and DOT regulations
- Ability to work 60 hours per week with a flexible schedule
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and safety mindset
- Comfortable working outdoors and performing physically demanding work
