Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills and experience working on diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
🔧 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on fleet trucks, trailers, and smaller equipment
- Diagnose and repair engines, brakes, wiring, hydraulics, electrical, and A/C systems
- Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
- Perform routine services as well as detailed mechanical repairs
- Complete accurate electronic work orders for each job
- Occasionally travel for roadside or off-site repairs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and standards
✅ QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous diesel mechanic experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with engines, hydraulics, electrical, and A/C systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
