Bilingual Quality Control Lab Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Lab Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for testing finished goods samples, maintaining laboratory equipment, recording test data, and collaborating with production and management teams to ensure product quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality testing on finished goods samples, including:
  • Viscosity
  • Density
  • Solids content
  • Dry time
  • Other product-specific quality tests
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzer equipment.
• Accurately enter and maintain data within the laboratory sample tracking system.
• Communicate test results and quality concerns with laboratory, production, and management teams.
• Assist in investigating product quality issues and support corrective actions.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and safety according to 5S standards.
• Follow established testing procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory and production processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
• Prior laboratory, quality control, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience using laboratory testing equipment and analytical instruments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with data entry and computer-based tracking systems.
• Good math and ruler skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
• Comfortable working in a laboratory and manufacturing environment.

Hours

• Monday - Friday from 6am to finish (8-12hr shifts)
