Position Overview: Shelter Check-In Associate
Schedule: Night Shift- 12:30am-8am
The Shelter Check-In Associate plays a key role in ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all shelter clients. This position supports daily shelter operations, including client check-ins and check-outs, cleanliness of the facility, and basic client assistance.
Key Responsibilities:

Open the shelter and ensure lights are on by 6:00 AM

Sanitize and sweep designated areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene

Distribute bathroom keys upon request and monitor key return

Return personal belongings to clients during check-out process

Provide respectful and efficient customer service to all clients
Qualifications:

Strong customer service skills and the ability to work compassionately with diverse populations

Basic cleaning experience and attention to detail

Ability to perform light lifting (up to 25 lbs)

Punctuality and reliability in early-morning shifts
