Overview

Join the team at Coming Attractions Theatres as a Theatre Assistant Manager, a key leadership role supporting the General Manager in the smooth operation of the theatre. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and enjoys cinema culture. Must be at least 18 years old and able to fulfill key holder responsibilities.

  • Represent the company professionally and uphold high standards for staff and customer service

  • Oversee daily theatre operations including projection, box office, and concessions

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming theatre environment for guests and staff

Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager, you'll take charge of the theatre's day-to-day operations and be an integral part of our leadership team.

  • Supervise floor staff, manage building security, and handle disciplinary procedures

  • Perform opening/closing duties, make accurate deposits, and ensure reporting accuracy

  • Communicate with the Home Office and support the General Manager with administrative tasks

Experience

We’re looking for individuals who bring a mix of leadership, communication, and technical skills, along with a passion for creating great guest experiences.

  • Prior experience in retail, hospitality, or theatre operations is a plus

  • Strong communication and active listening skills; English fluency required

  • Comfortable with basic math, reporting, and staff training responsibilities
