Pay: $22–$30/hour depending on experience
We have an opportunity for an experienced office manager for a local Certified Public Accounting (CPA) firm providing tax, bookkeeping, and advisory services to a diverse client base. They value accuracy, organization, and strong communication, and we work together to provide an excellent client experience year-round.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and takes pride in keeping both people and processes running smoothly. Bookkeeping experience or familiarity with QuickBooks is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule client appointments and maintain staff calendars
- Organize incoming tax documents and client records
- Prepare client files for tax return processing
- Receive payments and issue receipts
- Create invoices and post client payments
- Assist with general office communication and correspondence
- Support the team during busy tax season with administrative and clerical tasks
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Prior experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or office management required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills
