Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals of Everett is hiring an Assembly Valve Technician for a company in Everett, WA. This is a fulltime, permanent position with the possibility of direct hire for the right candidate. Pay is $21-$30 per hour, depending on experience. Offering day shift hours Monday - Friday.
The valve technician will be responsible for assembling valves, picking and documenting orders, receiving and shipping orders, and testing assembled valves. You will also be working with shipping systems, interacting with customers, reading wiring diagrams and blueprints, and operating a forklift. The position is approximately 60% assembly and 40% warehouse duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use tools to disassemble and assemble valves.
- Pick orders in the warehouse and document the pick sheet.
- Receive and ship orders.
- Test valves after assembly.
- Work with shipping systems.
- Interact with customers.
- Read wiring diagrams and blueprints.
- Operate a forklift to unload trucks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience with valve assembly and warehouse operations.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.
- Forklift operation experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
