Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals of Everett are seeking a dedicated Structural Steel Cleaner/Painter for a company in Arlington, WA. The successful candidate will have experience painting metal, with the ability to handle materials using overhead cranes and forklifts. This position operates on a day shift schedule of Monday-Friday 6:00 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. with overtime every other Saturday. Starting pay for this position is $22-$26 DOE.
Responsibilities:
- Clean structural steel using a wire brush power tool and handle chisel
- Operate an airless painter to apply a prime coat to structural steel
- Handle materials using an overhead crane and forklift to evacuate and restage the paint area
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform regular safety and equipment checks
Requirements:
- Ability to be fitted with and wear a respirator
- Excellent longevity at previous roles
- Experience in material handling and operating overhead cranes and forklifts
