Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is hiring Assemblers / Packagers for a temporary assignment expected to run through the end of June. Join a fast-paced, hands-on team where your attention to detail and organizational skills will help ensure smooth and accurate shipping operations!
Pay: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Duration: Approximately 1 month
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the shipping department to ensure accurate and timely shipments
- Collaborate with manufacturing to maintain transactional accuracy
- Light hardware assembly of products (key tags, name badges, coasters, frames)
- Inspect items for quality and wrap using foam strips
- Label boxes with item codes, quantities, and weights
- Complete order paperwork and submit for supervisor review
- Maintain daily production and time tracking sheets
- Meet daily production goals
- Keep workspace clean and assist with general cleaning duties
What You Bring:
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Good organizational habits and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely
- Accuracy in reading and interpreting order forms
- A team-oriented attitude and willingness to take on other duties as assigned
