Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals of Everett is seeking a Technical Customer Support Specialist for a distribution company in Marysville, WA. This full-time, in-office role is ideal for someone with hands-on technical experience—such as HVAC, appliance repair, car service advisor, or similar—and strong communication skills. You’ll be supporting customers both over the phone and in the field, with a mix of technical troubleshooting, data entry, and occasional equipment repair or installation.
Location: Marysville, WA | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $25/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Answer technical service calls and assist customers (some after-hours/weekend calls may be required)
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and log service calls in the database
- Process customer purchase orders and perform accurate data entry
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain and update lists of qualified servicers and installers
- Participate in training programs for installers and servicers
- Create and maintain part numbers, bills of materials, and service bulletins
- Perform on-site repairs and equipment installations as needed
- Support other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on technical experience (HVAC, appliance repair, or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and customer service mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Physical Requirements
- Use of hand tools and meters
- Operation of food service appliances
- Occasional physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in varied positions
- Prolonged periods of desk work and computer use
Additional Requirements
- Strong typing and professional writing skills are essential—approximately 60% of the role involves email communication and computer work
- Computer testing for typing speed and email etiquette is required as part of the hiring process
