Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals of Everett is hiring an Industrial Hygienist for a company in Sultan, WA. Starting pay is $72,000–$109,000 per year. This is a fulltime, permanent position on day shift working 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday.
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Conduct exposure assessments to determine if workers are at risk
• Recommend ways to control or eliminate exposure to hazardous materials
• Design and implement industrial hygiene programs
• Train workers to protect themselves from exposure to hazards
• Record data and compile it into statistical analyses and reports to share with upper management
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
• Certification as a Certified Industrial Hygienist is desired
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in industrial hygiene or occupational health and safety
• In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, such as OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and local safety and health laws
• Strong understanding of risk assessment techniques and experience in developing risk mitigation strategies
