Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals of Everett is hiring a Fence Installer for a company in Arlington/Marysville, WA area. Starting pay is $21 per hour. This is a full‑time, permanent position on day shift, working Monday–Friday.
This role is ideal for candidates with outdoor construction experience who enjoy tough, physical work in all weather conditions. Work includes digging, lifting, hauling wheelbarrows of concrete, and installing wood, chain‑link, metal ornamental, and vinyl fencing.
Candidates with previous fencing or roofing, exterior construction, or concrete experience are encouraged to apply. Welding experience is a plus but not required.
NOTE: Must have a current driver's license and submit to a DMV driving check to operate a company vehicle. This is a requirement of the role.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Representing the company professionally while on job sites and interacting with customers
- Prepping ground for fence installation (wood, chain‑link, and metal ornamental)
- Accurately measuring and cutting materials for proper fit
- Digging holes for fence posts
- Moving heavy cement using a wheelbarrow throughout the day
- Operating hand and power tools safely
- Following work orders and taking direction well
- Cleaning up job sites and performing general labor tasks
- Driving company vehicles safely to and from local job sites
- Prepping materials and assisting with demolition of existing fencing
