Express Employment Professionals of Everett is hiring an Inventory Specialist for a manufacturing environment located in Everett, WA. Starting pay is $23 per hour. This is a full‑time, temporary-to-hire position on day shift, working 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday.
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Inventory Specialist who will help keep production running smoothly by ensuring accurate inventory records, timely material flow, and strong communication with multiple departments.
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Maintain and update accurate inventory records using inventory management software
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock
• Perform regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Receive, document, and store incoming materials to meet quality and accuracy standards
• Track inbound and outbound inventory to ensure proper flow through the facility
• Coordinate with production and purchasing teams to forecast inventory needs
• Follow inventory control procedures including FIFO, JIT, and PAR levels
• Identify and process obsolete or damaged inventory per company policy
• Prepare inventory reports for supervisors and management
• Support shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipment accuracy
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and maintain warehouse logs
• Assist with cycle counts, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Communicate inventory‑related issues with sales, logistics, and purchasing teams
