Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Quality Technician for a temporary assignment with a manufacturing company. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail who enjoys quality control, testing, and maintaining accurate documentation in a manufacturing environment.
Pay: $25/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Duration: July through approximately the end of the year
Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials, in-process batches, and finished products for quality and specification compliance.
- Perform quality control testing using established procedures.
- Operate and maintain laboratory and testing equipment.
- Accurately document inspection and test results.
- Maintain quality records and assist with batch documentation.
- Identify and report quality issues, deviations, and non-conformances.
- Assist with corrective action investigations.
- Follow GMPs, SOPs, and company quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Support production and packaging departments as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to wear required PPE.
Preferred:
- Previous quality control, quality assurance, or manufacturing experience.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Experience using laboratory equipment.
- Associate degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.
