Express Employment Professionals of Everett is hiring Forklift Operator for a manufacturing company in Everett, WA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with forklift experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment and is looking for stable, full-time employment.
Location: Everett, WA
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday
Pay: $21.00 per hour
About the Role
This full-time position is responsible for supporting warehouse and production operations through safe forklift operation, material handling, shipping and receiving support, and general warehouse organization. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to assist with various plant-floor tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move raw materials, finished products, pallets, and production supplies
- Load and unload trucks delivering materials and shipping finished products
- Transport completed extrusion profiles from production lines to staging and storage areas
- Organize and rotate inventory using First-In, First-Out (FIFO) practices
- Unload and verify incoming materials and inspect for damage or discrepancies
- Stage outgoing orders and prepare shipments for loading
- Maintain clean, organized storage areas, pallet lanes, and walkways
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment concerns
- Supply materials to production lines and assist with general production support tasks
- Remove scrap bins and rejected-material containers and return them to designated areas
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience required
- Experience moving loads that are 16 feet wide or larger required
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Excellent attendance and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
