Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Outside Sales Representative with Inside Sales Support experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of our products and possess excellent communication skills to develop and maintain customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Outside Sales:
- Identify and target new business opportunities in your assigned territory.
- Conduct sales calls and face-to-face meetings with potential and existing customers.
- Present and demonstrate our product offerings, highlighting their applications and benefits.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies and achieve sales targets.
- Attend industry trade shows and network with potential clients to generate leads.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals and quotations in a timely manner.
Inside Sales Support:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing exceptional customer service.
- Assist in the order processing and tracking of sales orders.
- Maintain customer records in our database, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
- Provide product knowledge and technical support to customers.
- Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, including pricing, inventory management, and sales reporting.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in outside sales and inside sales support, preferably within the industrial supply sector.
- Knowledge of pipes, valves, fittings, flanges, gaskets, and gauges is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
