Job Full Description
Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Technician
Location: Kennewick
Description: One of our local clients in Kennewick is hiring an Equipment Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate must be mechanically inclined to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment
- Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing or repairs
- Record repairs and maintenance performed
- Document repairs and complete paperwork
- Provide excellent customer service
- Operate hand tools, power tools, keep track of tool inventory
- Repair and replace damaged or worn parts
- Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers’ specifications
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles
- Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs, using engine diagnostic equipment such as computerized test equipment and calibration devices
- Load and unload freight from trucks to the shop
- Follow all safety rules
- Perform special projects and other job duties as requested from manager
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-5 years of experience assisting a skilled trade worker in the repair of equipment (wheelchairs, scooters, installation of car ramps, etc)
- Possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive an automobile
- Clean driving record required
- Heavy lifting and carrying, 50lbs or more with assistance
- Able to stand for up to 8 hour shifts
Pay: $30.00
Schedule: M-F, 7/8am-5pm
