On behalf of our valued client, a leader in high-performance metal seal manufacturing for aerospace, automotive, power generation, and R&D sectors, we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HR Generalist. This position supports a dynamic and team-focused HR department and plays a key role in ensuring a positive employee experience.

About the Role:

As an HR Generalist, you will report directly to the HR Manager and assist in a broad range of functions including onboarding, payroll processing, benefits administration, employee relations, and HR systems management. This role requires confidentiality, professionalism, and a high degree of accuracy and organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate onboarding for new and contract employees, including orientation, badge/timeclock setup, and benefits enrollment

  • Support recruiting efforts and manage candidate communications

  • Process and reconcile payroll data, track time & attendance, and support fringe benefit administration

  • Maintain compliance and training records using HRIS and QT9 systems

  • Assist with employee programs: compensation, benefits, performance management, and disciplinary processes

  • Support morale and recognition initiatives, training events, open enrollment, and company-wide activities

  • Provide professional employee relations support and escalate complex issues as needed

  • Serve as backup for safety-related responsibilities when needed

  • Perform general HR administrative tasks, filing, and documentation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in HR, Business, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred)

  • 1+ year of experience in an HR or related administrative role

  • SHRM or PHR certification preferred or willingness to obtain

  • Strong communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational ability

  • High integrity with the ability to manage sensitive information discreetly

  • Familiarity with employment law, HR best practices, and Microsoft Office

  • Experience with ADP or similar HRIS systems strongly preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods

  • Able to lift up to 15 lbs and move comfortably around office and production areas
