Job Full Description
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Field Service Tire Technician to support mining operations by performing tire maintenance and service on heavy equipment. This hands-on role requires someone who can work independently in remote or rugged environments, respond to service calls, and ensure equipment remains safe and operational.
Key Responsibilities:
The Field Service Tire Tech will be responsible for removing, installing, and repairing tires on a variety of off-the-road (OTR) mining equipment, such as haul trucks, loaders, and dozers. The technician must be comfortable working in the field under varying weather and site conditions and be able to diagnose and report tire-related issues efficiently. Proper use of tire service tools and adherence to safety procedures are essential.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have prior experience in tire service, preferably in a mining or heavy equipment environment. Strong knowledge of tire types, sizes, and pressure requirements for OTR equipment is important. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, safety-conscious, and able to work with minimal supervision. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
