Kitchen Manager

We’re looking for a hands-on, dependable Kitchen Manager to lead a team of around 10 kitchen staff and keep operations running smoothly in a fun, high-energy environment!
Pay & Schedule:
- $24–$27/hour, depending on experience
- Full-time, evenings and weekends required
What You’ll Do:
- Lead, train, and schedule a team of around 10 kitchen staff (including minors)
- Work on the line (especially grill) during peak service times
- Oversee inventory, food ordering, and waste control
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with ownership on menu updates (including bar/cocktail offerings)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen
- Operate Center Edge POS system and use office software (Excel, Word)
What We’re Looking For:
- Direct restaurant/kitchen management experience
- Strong leadership skills, especially working with younger team members
- Hands-on and proactive; comfortable stepping in wherever needed
- Excellent communication skills (especially with non-restaurant-experienced ownership)
- Dependable, trustworthy, and able to work independently
What You Bring to the Table:
- Experience with grill and standard commercial kitchen equipment
- Knowledge of food cost control and labor management
- Familiarity with POS systems (Center Edge preferred)
- Ability to stand for long periods, work evenings/weekends, and lift items like food boxes/kegs
