Sales Representative 

A leading provider of industrial safety and inspection services is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join their team. This position involves driving sales of Rigging Inspections, Crane Inspections, Racking Inspections, and Customer Training Services across a defined territory.

This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven sales professional who is looking to grow in the industrial safety space. Full training is provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell rigging, crane, and racking inspections, as well as customer training services within a defined territory.

  • Conduct discovery with customers to identify needs and pain points at all organizational levels.

  • Recommend inspection and training solutions that exceed expectations and provide measurable value.

  • Follow a structured six-step sales process: Plan, Qualify, Align, Propose, Close, Expand.

  • Develop and present professional, tailored proposals to secure new business and renewals.

  • Maintain accurate records and activity logs in the company’s CRM system.

  • Collaborate with service teams and inside sales to increase customer retention and satisfaction.

  • Generate and share leads for additional services as opportunities are identified.

  • Stay up to date on industry regulations and safety standards (ASME, ISO, OSHA, etc.).

  • Address customer concerns and escalate issues to management as needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Valid driver’s license in good standing (must meet company requirements).

  • Ability to lift or pull a minimum of 50 pounds.

  • Must pass background check, drug screen, and E-Verify.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and basic technical understanding.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general PC literacy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, industrial technology, or a related field.

  • Prior sales experience in an industrial or service-based environment.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems.

  • Knowledge of safety and inspection standards (ASME, ISO, OSHA).

  • Proven ability to manage a sales territory and maintain client relationships.
