Responsibilities May Include

Prepare and cook meals according to menus and standardized recipes

Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines (e.g., ServSafe standards)

Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies

Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and workspaces

Assist with plating, portioning, and timely meal service

Accommodate dietary restrictions or special requests as needed

Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, servers, and supervisors

Support special events, banquets, or daily service depending on the assignment
Qualifications

Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred (professional or institutional)

Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately

Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment and cooking techniques

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs

ServSafe certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)

Flexible, dependable, and team-oriented attitude

Must be able to pass a background check and/or drug screening (based on site requirements)
