Key Responsibilities:
• Create and revise 3D models using SolidWorks
• Produce detailed shop drawings, layouts, and construction documents for wood & metal fixtures
• Develop design concepts and engineered solutions for custom fixtures, displays, and casework
• Revise drawings based on client feedback, value engineering, or production requirements
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, material capabilities, and tolerances
• Collaborate with engineering, project managers, production teams, and installers
• Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing files throughout the project lifecycle
Required Qualifications:
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field (Preferred)
• 3+ years of experience drafting or designing wood products, millwork, or casework (PREFFERED)
• Proficiency in SolidWorks (AutoCAD or similar CAD software acceptable)
• Knowledge of wood products (plywood, MDF, laminates, veneers) and related hardware (BONUS)
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines
