Shipping & Receiving Associate
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (1st Shift)
Pay Range: $20–$22/hour BOE
Candidates seeking higher pay may be considered if they bring a higher skill set.
Position Summary
Under the direction of the Plant Supervisor, this role supports shipping and receiving operations by accurately packing customer orders, receiving materials, and loading/unloading trucks in accordance with established procedures and shipping regulations.
Key Responsibilities

Accurately package products for shipment per company procedures and customer specifications

Verify incoming and outgoing shipments by counting, weighing, or measuring materials against documentation

Create and apply shipping labels and identifying information to cartons and containers

Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and materials

Verify quantity and quality of received materials and place items into storage

Load and unload trucks using forklifts, tier lift trucks, or hand trucks

Support daily shipping and receiving activities to meet customer delivery requirements
Requirements
-
Forklift experience required (hoist experience preferred)

Experience with computer data entry; Epicor system knowledge a plus

Ability to read and follow work instructions

Basic understanding of blueprints or drawings

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Clear written and verbal communication in English

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to obtain forklift certification
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, and use hands throughout the shift

Frequent lifting/moving up to 50 lbs

Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and reaching

Vision requirements include close, distance, and depth perception
