Job Full Description
Seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Accounts Payable (A/P) Assistant to support our client's accounting and office operations. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, eager to learn, and comfortable handling a variety of administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter invoices into QuickBooks accurately and in a timely manner
- Match packing slips with corresponding invoices
- Learn and apply proper invoice coding for data entry
- Assist with general accounts payable duties as needed
- Provide general office support and assist with miscellaneous administrative tasks
- Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming phone calls
- Help maintain an organized and efficient office environment
- Accurate and timely invoice processing
- Well-organized documentation and records
- Efficient support of daily office operations
- Professional and courteous handling of phone communications
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles preferred
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Professional communication and phone etiquette
