Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Trim Carpenter to install, repair, and finish interior woodwork on residential and/or commercial projects. This role focuses on detailed finish work including molding, baseboards, cabinetry, doors, and custom wood features. The ideal candidate takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and delivering high-quality finishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install trim, molding, baseboards, crown molding, and casing
- Hang and finish doors, windows, and frames
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood materials with precision
- Install cabinets, shelving, and custom woodwork
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and client expectations
- Repair or replace damaged trim and finish carpentry elements
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of finish/trim carpentry experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately
- High attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license (if travel between job sites is required)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing
- Comfortable working with hand and power tools
Work Environment:
- Residential and/or commercial construction sites
- Indoor and occasional outdoor work depending on project
