An overhead crane operator is responsible for safely operating cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment within warehouses, factories, construction sites, or industrial facilities. They use controls, levers, and pedals to maneuver loads horizontally and vertically along a fixed overhead track system. A key part of their job includes material handling tasks such as loading and unloading materials, transporting large parts or equipment to different workstations, and ensuring materials are placed accurately and securely. Operators must follow safety protocols, inspect cranes for proper functionality, and communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.

FULL TIME; Mon-Fri 5am-3:30pm
$17/hr
