Job Description:
Position Overview: Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable and experienced Part-Time Delivery Driver to transport golf carts safely and efficiently to designated locations. While a CDL is not required, candidates should have a background in driving, particularly in pull, long-haul, or boat deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport golf carts safely and efficiently to designated locations.
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of golf carts from delivery vehicles.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of delivery vehicles to ensure roadworthiness.
- Maintain delivery logs and documentation accurately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating delivery vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate delivery schedules.
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on delivery vehicles as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in driving large trailers, especially in pull, long-haul, or boat deliveries, preferred.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- Customer service-oriented with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Working Conditions:
- Part-time role, offering three days of work per week.
- Flexible schedule based on delivery schedules.
- May require lifting and carrying items during loading and unloading processes.
