Overview
We are hiring Event Security staff for the Ostrich Festival this weekend. Security team members help maintain a safe, organized, and enjoyable environment for all guests, vendors, and staff.
Dates & Shifts:
- Friday: 1:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 AM
- Sunday: 9:00 AM – 11:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Monitor event grounds and report any safety concerns
- Assist with crowd control and guest direction
- Support entry/exit points and check credentials as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to attendees
- Maintain a professional and calm presence throughout the event
- Follow all event and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Must be reliable and able to stand/walk for long periods
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced outdoor environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Prior event or security experience is helpful but not required
- Must be available for the full shift(s) selected
