We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Delivery Driver to transport HVAC supplies to customers using a 26-foot Isuzu flatbed truck. This position involves loading, securing, delivering, and unloading materials at customer locations while providing excellent customer service and ensuring accurate delivery documentation.
Responsibilities
- Operate a 26-foot Isuzu flatbed truck safely and in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load, organize, and properly secure HVAC supplies for transport.
- Deliver products to customer locations throughout Arizona.
- Unload materials at delivery sites using a lift gate.
- Obtain customer signatures on delivery paperwork and maintain accurate delivery records.
- Inspect vehicle before and after routes and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Follow delivery schedules and communicate any delays or issues to management.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service at all delivery locations.
- Use GPS/navigation systems as needed while following all safe driving practices.
- Adhere to company safety requirements and DOT regulations.
Requirements
- Valid Arizona Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Current Arizona DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to safely operate a 26-foot flatbed truck.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 60 pounds occasionally.
- Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and customer service.
- Ability to complete and manage delivery documentation.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent loading and unloading of HVAC materials.
- Occasional lifting of items up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to climb in and out of trucks and safely maneuver materials.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Work Environment
- Local delivery routes only; home daily.
- Water in sealed containers with lids is permitted in the truck.
- Drivers may use navigation devices while driving but must comply with all laws regarding distracted driving. Texting while driving is strictly prohibited.
Compensation: $20.00 per hour
