6:00AM-4:30PM 

6:30PM-4:30AM 

 

 

We are currently seeking self-motivated, efficient, and meticulous Material Handlers to join our growing Casa Grande Facility. As a Material Handler with our organization, you will be responsible for unloading product deliveries, maintaining stock in the warehouse, and moving stock and other materials to fulfill orders. The ideal candidate for the material handler position is a diligent worker who can complete tasks successfully with little to no guidance.

 

You Will:

  1. Move stock to and from loading docks, delivery vehicles, storage area, and production area either manually or using equipment such as trucks, tractors, or forklifts
  2. Follow written or oral instructions regarding daily tasks and job duties
  3. Stage products on shipping and receiving docks, warehouse, and lineside functions
  4. Sort cargo during loading or unloading process and mark containers with identifying information
  5. Stock cargo in specific locations using cargo boards or pallets
  6. Document the number of units handled or moved each day using production sheets
  7. Use assistive devices – slings, hooks, etc. – to lift and guide cargo
  8. Operate material handling equipment such as sit-down forklifts, order pickers, tow motors, pallet jacks, both manual and powered
  9. Receive, confirm, track, store, and deliver material from the warehouse to production facilities
  10. Lift and unload heavy pallets, both by hand and by machine, and safely relocate them elsewhere or prepare them for transport
  11. Facilitate and maintain a safe work environment
  12. Perform quality inspections of materials, ensuring that the delivery is completed as requested and that the order meets company and industry standards
  13. Keep the warehouse organized and tide and implement general housekeeping practices to maintain workplace cleanliness
  14. Understand the basics of the supply chain, including shipping and receiving logistics, quality assurance, equipment upkeep, and facility maintenance
  15. Fill out inventory lists, crosscheck shipping invoices and maintain accurate delivery log records for every order
  16. Demonstrate communication skills (verbal and non-verbal) with all levels of management
  17. Has the capability to work independently and as part of a team
  18. Exhibit strong self-initiative, problem solving, multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment
  19. Ability to deal with ambiguity and thrive in a rapidly changing manufacturing environment
  20. Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office Suites
  21. Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) forklift certification strongly preferred
  22. Availability to work overtime hours

 

You Bring:

  1. High School Diploma or GED required
  2. At least two to three years of experience operating MHE equipment such as sit-down forklift, tow motor, order pickers, and pallet jacks preferred
  3. Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  4. Flexibility to support any shift including day, night, and swing shifts, as needed. Weekend and holiday work may be required.
  5. There is frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform other similar actions during the course of the workday.
  6. Positive energy and attitude

Desired Skills:

  1. Service in the United States Military with honorable discharge is a plus.
  2. Previous experience working in an automotive related (OEM plant is a plus)
