Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, donuts, and breakfast cakes daily
- Follow established recipes and production guidelines
- Monitor baking times, oven temperatures, and ingredient quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas
- Assist with inventory, ingredient ordering, and proper food storage
- Ensure all baked goods meet our quality and presentation standards
- Collaborate with the team to develop new items or seasonal offerings
Qualifications
- Experience as a baker, pastry cook, or similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of dough preparation, proofing, and finishing techniques
- Ability to work early mornings and stand for extended periods
- Attention to detail and pride in creating consistent, beautiful products
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work both independently and in a team
- Food handler certification (or willingness to obtain)
