Equipment Moving & Logistics Associate (General Labor)

Location: On-site
Schedule: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (arrive 15 minutes early for daily meet & greet)

About the Role

We are seeking experienced, reliable associates to support a data center project involving the movement, loading, and preparation of IT equipment and server racks. This position requires strong physical capability, attention to detail, and professionalism while working inside a sensitive data-center environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely move and transport heavy data center equipment, including lifting 40–300 lbs regularly.
• Push and maneuver server racks weighing 1,000–3,000 lbs (on wheels) and load them into truck trailers.
• Stack, pack, and shrink-wrap pallets for transport.
• Operate manual pallet jacks to move pallets throughout the facility.
• Follow all on-site procedures, access requirements, and operational protocols.
• Maintain professionalism at all times and communicate only through the designated on-site representative.

Expected Results

• Safe, damage-free handling of all servers, racks, and IT assets.
• Accurate, stable pallet preparation and secure wrapping.
• Consistent adherence to arrival times, dress code, building access rules, and communication protocols.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry 40–300 lbs throughout the shift.
• Ability to push and pull 1,000–3,000 lb wheeled server racks.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive movement.
• Ability to operate manual pallet jacks safely.
• Comfortable working in warehouse or data-center environments.

Requirements

• Must bring government-issued identification daily for entry.
• Must arrive 15 minutes prior to start time.
