Airbnb / Short-Term Rental Cleaner
Pay: $18–$22 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Open availability required; weekend work required
Job Overview
We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented cleaners to support short-term rental (Airbnb) properties. This role is responsible for ensuring each property is thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and guest-ready between stays. Candidates with hospitality cleaning experience are preferred, though residential cleaning experience is also welcome.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize all areas of the property, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, and high-touch surfaces
- Manage linens and laundry, including washing, drying, and replacing bed linens and towels
- Restock essential supplies such as toiletries, paper products, and trash bags
- Reset the space to guest-ready condition and report any damages, missing items, or supply needs
Expected Results
- Properties are consistently clean, organized, and ready for guest check-in
- High standards of cleanliness that contribute to positive guest reviews
- On-time completion of cleanings to support smooth guest turnovers
Experience Required
- Previous cleaning experience required
- Hospitality cleaning experience (hotel, resort, Airbnb/short-term rental) preferred
- Residential cleaning experience will also be considered
- Ability to follow cleaning checklists and property-specific instructions

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods

- Stamina to complete multiple cleanings within scheduled timeframes
Equipment Required
- Cleaning tools such as vacuum, mop, broom, microfiber cloths, and scrub brushes
- Approved cleaning and disinfecting supplies
- Laundry supplies and access to washer/dryer (on-site or off-site)
- Personal protective equipment (gloves, as required)
