Maintenance Technician – Hotel
Location: Arcadia/Biltmore Area
Schedule: 5 days per week, 40 hours per week (hours may vary)
Pay: $18–$21 per hour, DOE (Depending on Experience)
Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our hotel team. This position is responsible for maintaining the overall condition of the property to ensure a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting
- Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and work orders
- Conduct preventive maintenance on guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment and facility issues
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and follow safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with hotel staff to ensure excellent guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience required; hotel or hospitality experience preferred
- General knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull moderate weight
