Hotel Bartender

Location: South Scottsdale

Hours: 30-34 hours a week (Evening shifts)
Schedule: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $15.15 plus tips

Position Overview

We are seeking an energetic and skilled Bartender to join our hotel team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates excellent customer service skills, and can perform efficiently under pressure while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards
• Provide exceptional guest service and create a positive, engaging bar experience
• Maintain knowledge of drink recipes, menu offerings, and promotions
• Ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and regulations
• Manage multiple orders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Operate POS system and handle cash and credit transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
• Monitor guest consumption and promote responsible drinking
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

• Required: Valid alcohol certification (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol, or equivalent)
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years bartending experience preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Must be able to move quickly and multitask in a busy setting
