Hotel Barista / Pool Server (Morning Shift)
Location: South Scottsdale
Position Type: Full-Time
Pay: $15.15/hour + tips
Schedule: Wednesday – Sunday, 5:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, energetic team member to join our hospitality team as a Barista and Pool Server. This unique dual-role position begins the day in our café before transitioning to poolside service, offering variety and a dynamic work environment.
Shift Breakdown
- 5:30 AM – ~10:30 AM: Barista duties in hotel
- ~10:30 AM – 1:00 PM: Transition to poolside server
Key Responsibilities
Barista (Morning Café Service):
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and light food items
- Provide friendly, efficient guest service
- Operate POS system and process transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of café area
Pool Server (Late Morning Service):
- Take food and beverage orders from pool guests
- Deliver orders promptly and accurately
- Ensure guests have an excellent and relaxing poolside experience
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas and assist with pool setup
Qualifications
- Previous barista or serving experience preferred (not required)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Must be comfortable working outdoors during the pool shift
- Required: Valid alcohol certification (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol, or equivalent)
