Barista – Hospital Café
Location: Local Hospital Café
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 5 days per week, 40 hours/week
Shift: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
🌟 Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Barista to join our hospital café team. In this role, you will provide high-quality coffee beverages and excellent service to hospital staff, patients, and visitors in a fast-paced, welcoming environment.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other café items to standard recipes
- Deliver exceptional customer service with a compassionate and positive attitude
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) system and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of café equipment, workstations, and seating areas
- Restock supplies, monitor inventory, and report low stock items
- Follow all food safety and health regulations
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
✅ Qualifications
- Previous barista experience
- Valid and active Food Handler’s Card (required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Dependable with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a hospital setting and interacting with diverse populations
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
