Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter to join our team. This role is responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood and other materials to construct and install high-quality cabinets and related structures. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, works efficiently, and maintains a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials according to specifications
- Assemble and install cabinets, fixtures, and related components
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans accurately
- Ensure all work meets design specifications and quality standards
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely
- Inspect materials for defects and ensure proper handling and storage
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other trades to complete projects on time
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies
Qualifications
- Must have a reliable vehicle and drivers license
- Proven experience as a carpenter or cabinet maker
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
